We apologise for the long downtime recently. We were moving the site to a different server. The website is going to be worked on properly again soon (when we have some time).

Emails are not currently being answered, but all emails are getting received and saved

Our arabic translation engine should be up and running within a few days. Just click the appropriate flag in the Language selection.

We are no longer using our old mailing list. We are now using a mailing list we run completely. Nobody will have to re-subscribe, everything has been taken care of.

Apologies for the recent time of inactivity and lack of updates to the website.

We are currently having problems with the mailing list. We may try fixing the problem soon, or just decide to find a more reliable service.

We are currently actively looking for a location for our future Cairo2600 meeting. Please email us with suggestions.

What is 2600?

2600 is an international non-profit organisation run by volunteers without any formal structure. 2600 Meetings are meetings around the world, every month, open to anyone interested in technology, computer security...etc. 2600 also produce a seasonal magazine, not on sale anywhere in Egypt yet.

How do I join 2600?

All you have to do is turn up at any meeting. There are no 'official' group members, but of course there will be regulars. You don't need to contact us. Simply arrive at a published meeting.
